- ham bone
- leftover ham (optional)
- 1 big onion
- 4 celery ribs
- 3 medium carrots
- yellow split peas
- garlic
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 boil ham bone for 3 hrs in large pot to get a broth.
- 2 dice onion, celery, carrots.
- 3 remove bone, add vegetables, peas and seasoning.
- 4 simmer until mush, add ham(optional).
