Ingredients
- 2 knockwurst, links sliced
- 1/2 cup celery, chopped
- 1/4 cup onion, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup potato flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- pumpernickel crouton
Recipe
- 1 in a large saucepan, brown knockwurst. add celery, onion, caraway seeds, and butter. cook until celery and onion are tender.
- 2 blend in milk, potato flakes, parsley, and thyme, stirring occasionally.
- 3 served garnished with pumpernickel bread croutons.
