Potato Soup

Ingredients

  • 2 knockwurst, links sliced
  • 1/2 cup celery, chopped
  • 1/4 cup onion, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon caraway seed
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup potato flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh thyme
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • pumpernickel crouton

Recipe

  • 1 in a large saucepan, brown knockwurst. add celery, onion, caraway seeds, and butter. cook until celery and onion are tender.
  • 2 blend in milk, potato flakes, parsley, and thyme, stirring occasionally.
  • 3 served garnished with pumpernickel bread croutons.
