Ingredients
- 2 medium potatoes, pared and diced
- 2 slices onions
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup hot milk
- 1 dash pepper
- 1 stalk celery, sliced very fine
- 1/3 cup water
Recipe
- 1 combine potatoes, onion and salt in a saucepan.
- 2 add boiling water.
- 3 cover and cook until potatoes are tender.
- 4 do not drain.
- 5 mash potatoes with a fork.
- 6 add milk, pepper and celery.
- 7 more milk may be added if soup is too thick.
- 8 serve hot.
