Potato Soup

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 5
  • 4 -5 medium potatoes
  • bacon
  • 1 onion
  • 1 (12 ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • salt and pepper
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery (optional)
  • 1/2 cup corn (optional)
  • 1 cup sliced fresh mushrooms (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 peel and cube potatoes.
  • 2 chop bacon and fry it.
  • 3 chop onion and other veggies if desired.
  • 4 put potatoes, bacon, onion, & veggies in large pot; cover with water.
  • 5 cook until fork tender.
  • 6 add butter and milk.
  • 7 remove from heat.
  • 8 salt and pepper.
  • 9 enjoy.
