- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 egg, well beaten
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- 2/3 cup milk
Recipe
- 1 sift together they dry ingredients.
- 2 add egg, melted butter and enough milk to make a moist, stiff batter.
- 3 drop by teaspoon into boiling soup.
- 4 cook, covered without "peeking" for 18-20 minutes.
- 5 serve and enjoy.
