Pressure Canned Stew Meat

Total Time: 1 hr 45 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 lbs stew meat
  • 1 (10 ounce) can mushroom soup (celery would also work)
  • 3 1/2 teaspoons salt (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 fill quart jars with stewing meat.
  • 2 add 1/2 tsp salt per jar.
  • 3 1 tbsp of soup per jar.
  • 4 cap and ring each jar.
  • 5 put in canner following pressure canner directions.
  • 6 process 10 pounds pressure for 90 minutes.
  • 7 i am at 3000 ft altitude.
