Hash Brown Cheddar Bake

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 4 cups tater tots or 4 cups hash browns
- 6 slices bacon
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1 cup cheddar cheese
- 1 (10 1/2 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
Recipe
- 1 cook bacon in large pan until desired firmness is reached. set aside and break up into small pieces.
- 2 in the same pan, add your garlic and onion, saute for about 10 minutes, or until onions are clear.
- 3 add the tater tots or hash browns to the onions and garlic. cover for 10 minutes or so, stirring a couple times.
- 4 meanwhile, in a large bowl, combine condensed soup, sour cream, 1/4 c cheddar cheese, bacon, salt, and pepper.
- 5 add the taters to the soup mixture and gently stir.
- 6 grease a 9x13 baking pan and spoon the mixture into it. add the remaining 3/4 c of cheddar cheese to the top.
- 7 bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 30 minutes covered, and then another 30 minutes uncovered, or until cheese is lightly brown and sides are bubbly.
