- 4 cups low sodium chicken broth
- 2 cups water
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 carrots, chopped
- 1 stalk celery, chopped
- 2 tablespoons garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
- 1/2 cup dry lentils
- 1/2 cup brown rice
Recipe
- 1 place all ingredients in a small slow cooker. cover and cook on low for 7 to 8 hours or until lentils and rice are cooked.
