Potato Soup

Ingredients
- 1 lb bacon
- 1 1/2 cups onions, diced
- 4 cups potatoes, diced
- 2 cups water
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2 (10 3/4 ounce) cans cream of chicken soup
- 3 cups milk
- 1 cup sour cream
Recipe
- 1 fry bacon until crisp, remove from pan and saute onions until translucent. drain bacon grease.
- 2 boil potatoes in water and salt until fork tender - no need to drain.
- 3 add pepper, onions, cream of chicken soup and milk. i usually put in the crock pot at this point to heat up and keep warm.
- 4 if rushed for time, you can heat this on the stove.
- 5 just before serving, add crispy bacon and sour cream.
