Porcuppine Casserole

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 600 g lean ground beef
  • 1/3 cup long grain rice, uncooked
  • 1 teaspoon beef stock powder
  • 1 egg
  • 420 g tomato soup
  • 425 g crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 onion, finely diced
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons beef stock powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic (in jar)

Recipe

  • 1 prehat oven to 190c fan forced.
  • 2 in large casserole dish (that has lid) combine all ingredients listed to make sauce.
  • 3 pour into casserole dish and leave to one side.
  • 4 in a medium size mixing bowl combine all ingredients listed to make meatballs. using your hands mix together well. shape into 12 round meatballs,
  • 5 add to casserole dish and bake for 1 hour.
