Slow-cooker Beef Mushroom Barley Soup

Total Time: 5 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 5 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 2 lbs beef chuck, cubed
  • 4 teaspoons beef base
  • 1 (12 ounce) bag frozen chopped onions
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 3/4 cup pearl barley
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 5 cups water

Recipe

  • 1 in slow cooker, combine all ingredients.
  • 2 cover and cook on low setting for 5-6 hours.
