Ingredients
- 1/4 lb butter
- 1/4 cup onion, chopped
- 1/2 lb sliced mushrooms
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 3 cups milk
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon juice
Recipe
- 1 brown chopped onions in butter. add sliced mushrooms.
- 2 cook until tender.
- 3 blend in flour, then gradually add chicken stock and milk. heat to boiling until mixture thickens.
- 4 all salt, pepper and lemon juice. simmer 10 minutes.
