Ingredients

- 1 lb potato
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 chopped onions
- 3 slices bacon
- 1 1/2 quarts chicken broth
- 1 bay leaf
- heavy cream (optional)
- salt and pepper
Recipe
- 1 melt the butter in a large pot. fry the bacon and onions in butter. cook until onions are clear.
- 2 add potatoes to the pot. cover with chicken broth. add bay leaf. boil until potatoes fal apart.
- 3 use an immersion blender in mistre until smooth.
- 4 add cream and salt and pepper to taste.
