Pot Roast Of Beef

Total Time: 4 hrs 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 4 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 4 -5 lbs beef brisket
  • 2 tablespoons butter or 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 1 (2 ounce) package lipton onion soup mix
  • 4 -5 potatoes, cut up (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 mix first four ingredients and pat into the surface of brisket.
  • 2 melt butter in a dutch oven and put in the meat and brown it thoroughly on all sides.
