Skillet Herb Roasted Chicken

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground sage
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme leaves, crushed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 (10 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup water

Recipe

  • 1 sprinkle chicken with sage and thyme.
  • 2 pour 1/2 t olive oil into medium skillet and heat over medium heat 1 minute. add chicken and cook 15 minutes or until chicken is browned and no longer pink. remove and keep warm.
  • 3 remove pan from heat. pour other half tablespoon of olive oil in pan. add garlic, return to heat and cook 30 seconds until lightly browned.
  • 4 add soup and water. reduce heat to low and heat through. serve over chicken.
