Mom's Cheddar Potato Bake

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 30 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 -8 medium potatoes, peeled
  • 1 medium onion, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 can condensed golden mushroom soup
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Recipe

  • 1 boil and drain potatoes which have been cut in half.
  • 2 saute onion in margarine until tender.
  • 3 while potatoes are hot, place into 9 x 13" baking dish.
  • 4 break potatoes into chunks with fork to cover bottom of dish.
  • 5 salt and pepper.
  • 6 spoon soup over potatoes, then add onions.
  • 7 cover with cheese.
  • 8 bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
