Ingredients

- 4 cups potatoes, shredded
- 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3/4-1 teaspoon celery seed
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons parsley, snipped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon season salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- 3 dashes crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 cup milk
- 1 3/4 cups cream
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- crumbled bacon
- fresh snipped chives
- shredded cheddar cheese
Recipe
- 1 in a pan combine first 11 ingredients. bring to a boil.
- 2 cover and simmer about 20 minutes.
- 3 add 1 cup milk.
- 4 add 1 3/4 cup cream.
- 5 add in 8 ounces cream cheese.
- 6 stir until combined and smooth.
- 7 return to boil then simmer until potatoes have finished cooking.
- 8 remove from heat.
- 9 garnish with bacon, chives and shredded cheddar.
