Meat Square And Potato Bake

Total Time: 1 hr 15 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 (24 ounce) package frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup french onion dip
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of celery soup
  • 1 (10 3/4 ounce) can cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 teaspoon spicy seasoning salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon california garlic salt
  • 12 frozen meatballs (i use my recipe for meat squares)

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 spray a 9 x 13 glass-baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • 3 in a bowl, combine potatoes, 1-1/2â°c shredded cheddar cheese, french onion dip, salts and soups; mix well.
  • 4 spread in baking dish.
  • 5 cover tightly with foil.
  • 6 bake for 35 minutes.
  • 7 remove from oven.
  • 8 uncover; arrange meatballs or meat squares in rows over potatoes, pressing slightly.
  • 9 sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup of cheese.
  • 10 bake uncovered an additional 20 – 25 minutes or until golden brown and hot in the center.
