Pecan Pie

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup light karo syrup
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup pecans
  • 1 unbaked pie shell

Recipe

  • 1 mix sugar, starch and salt.
  • 2 add beaten eggs.
  • 3 stir in syrup.
  • 4 stir in pecans.
  • 5 pour into unbaked pie shell
  • 6 bake at 350 degrees for approximately 35 - 40 minutes (will be soupy when hot, but will congeal as it cools).
  • 7 if desired, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
