Pecan Pie

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup light karo syrup
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup pecans
- 1 unbaked pie shell
Recipe
- 1 mix sugar, starch and salt.
- 2 add beaten eggs.
- 3 stir in syrup.
- 4 stir in pecans.
- 5 pour into unbaked pie shell
- 6 bake at 350 degrees for approximately 35 - 40 minutes (will be soupy when hot, but will congeal as it cools).
- 7 if desired, serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
