Double Cheese Soup

Total Time: 35 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup gouda cheese, shredded
  • salt, pepper
  • 5 drops hot sauce
  • chives (to garnish)

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in saucepan.
  • 2 add onion and celery, stir to soften.
  • 3 add flour, to thicken.
  • 4 slowly whisk in milk until smooth.
  • 5 bring to a simmer.
  • 6 add cheeses stirring until blended.
  • 7 add salt& pepper to taste and garnish with chives.
