Garlic Broth

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 cups vegetable broth
  • 3 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 sprig fresh sage
  • 1 sprig fresh thyme
  • 4 sprigs fresh parsley
  • salt and pepper, to tastes

Recipe

  • 1 in a covered pot, bring broth to a boil.
  • 2 in a soup pot on low heat gently saute the garlic in olive oil, until golden, taking care not to let it brown.
  • 3 add boiling broth.
  • 4 stir in paprika.
  • 5 tie sage, thyme, and parsley into a bundle with string.
  • 6 add the bouquet to the pot.
  • 7 bring the broth to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10 - 15 minutes or up to 30 minute for more intense flavor.
  • 8 remove the bouquet and season with salt and pepper.
