Ingredients

- 1 quart red currants
- 2 cups water
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons arrowroot
Recipe
- 1 mash the currants through a colander.
- 2 put the juice in a pan and add two cups water, cinnamon stick, lemon juice and heat.
- 3 add arrowroot to one tbsp water and blend until smooth. add to pan.
- 4 heat until boiling, stirring constantly.
- 5 serve.
