Ingredients

- 1 tablespoon fresh basil, chopped finely. or 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
- 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 6 ounces cream cheese
- 21 1/2 ounces cream of tomato soup
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 32 ounces stewed tomatoes
Recipe
- 1 cook onion and garlic in butter until soft and translucent.
- 2 add basil, paprika, and creme cheese.
- 3 cook until creamy, stirring constantly so as not to burn the paprika.
- 4 add remaining ingredients, stir vigorously with a whisk.
