Potato Potato Pot Roast

Ingredients
- Servings: 4
- 3 lbs chuck roast
- 3 large potatoes, peeled and halved
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 -4 carrots
- 1 (10 ounce) can cream of potato soup, mixed with
- 1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
Recipe
- 1 place meat in roasting pan; surround with potatoes and carrots. parsnips might be good here also.
- 2 season with salt and pepper and anything else you might admire. garlic?.
- 3 mix canned soup and dry onion soup together.
- 4 top roast with sliced onion and soup mixture.
- 5 cover tightly with foil and/or lid.
- 6 bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
- 7 reduce heat to 225 degrees fahrenheit.
- 8 bake for 2 to 3 hours or until meat is tender.
