Mushroom Noodle Soup

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 25 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 lb mushroom, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 tablespoons onions, minced
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 6 chicken bouillon cubes
  • 6 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • paprika, for garnish
  • 1 1/2 cups fine noodles, cooked

Recipe

  • 1 in a pot combine butter, garlic salt, onion and 3/4 of the mushrooms.
  • 2 cook for 5 minutes until onion is soft.
  • 3 blend in flour, stirring constantly.
  • 4 add bouillon cubes and water.
  • 5 bring to a boil.
  • 6 stir in remaining mushrooms, salt and pepper.
  • 7 reduce heat.
  • 8 cook for 15 minutes.
  • 9 add noodles.
  • 10 cook until heated.
  • 11 add cream.
  • 12 remove from heat.
  • 13 garnish with paprika.
