Grandma Huber's Knepfla Soup

Total Time: 1 hr 25 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 3 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • water
  • 1 cup cream
  • 4 stalks celery
  • 4 potatoes
  • 1 onion

Recipe

  • 1 mix flour, eggs, salt, and enough water to make a stiff dough.
  • 2 knead.
  • 3 boil a few quarts of water in soup pot.
  • 4 cut dough into bits with a scissors and drop into boiling water.
  • 5 boil a few minutes till cooked.
  • 6 add cream.
  • 7 add salt and pepper to taste, sliced celery, cubed potatoes, onion, and boil until tender.
  • 8 we like to add a bit of vinegar when eating!
  • 9 yum!
  • 10 sorry i know everything isn't measured out exactly, but is easy to change to everyone's liking.
