Instant Mashed Potato Soup

Ingredients

• Servings: 4
• 1 green onion, chopped
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• 2 tablespoons butter
• 4 cups milk
• 1 1/3 cups instant mashed potatoes
• 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
• 1/8 teaspoon pepper

Recipe

• 1 in a saucepan, saute the green onion & garlic in butter over medium low heat.
• 2 add milk, salt, pepper and instant potato flakes.
• 3 heat to almost boiling, stirring constantly.
• 4 remove from heat.
• 5 garnish with shredded cheese.
