Low-fat Creamy Corn Chowder

Ingredients

- 4 cups water
- 1 cup onion, chopped
- 2 cups carrots, sliced
- 2 cups celery, sliced
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, undrained
- 1 (15 ounce) can cream-style corn
- 1 cup powdered milk
- 8 ounces low-fat cheddar cheese, grated
Recipe
- 1 in large saucepan add water, onions, carrots, celery and pepper.
- 2 cover and cook on high heat until water comes to a boil.
- 3 reduce heat and simmer until vegetables are tender.
- 4 stir in corn, milk, and cheese and return soup to a boil.
- 5 reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.
