Onion Casserole

Ingredients
- Servings: 5
- 3 large onions, sliced
- 1/2 lb mushroom, fresh (or 2 small cans)
- 1/2 lb swiss cheese, shredded
- 18 1/2 inches slice french bread, buttered on both sides
- 10 1/2 ounces cream of chicken soup
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Recipe
- 1 best if refrigerated overnight or at least several hours.
- 2 saute onion and mushrooms in margarine of oil.
- 3 in a 9x13 inch buttered pan begin layering.
- 4 first layer: one half of the cheese.
- 5 second layer: one half of the onions and mushroom.
- 6 third layer: 9 slices of bread.
- 7 repeat layers.
- 8 mix soup, milk and soy sauce, pouring over top.
- 9 bake uncovered at 350 for 30 to 40 minutes.
