Ingredients

- 1 cup uncooked long grain rice
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 2 tablespoons dry onion soup mix
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 2/3 cups boiling water
- 1 cup frozen peas
Recipe
- 1 in large skillet, brown rice in oil, stirring constantly.
- 2 blend in soup mix and pepper.
- 3 stir in water; bring to a boil.
- 4 reduce heat, cover and simmer for 15 minutes or until rice is tender.
- 5 stir in peas.
- 6 cover and cook for 5 minutes.
